Eric Apps
Mr. Eric Apps is a Lawyer at Wildeboer Dellelce LLP. Mr. Apps practices in the areas of securities, corporate, mergers and acquisitions and banking law.
Prior to rejoining Dellelce in 2011, he was President of Angoss Software Corp. from 1999 to 2010, successfully executing a turn-around and growth plan establishing this company as a recognized market leader in the advanced analytics market. Prior to starting Wildeboer Dellelce in 1993, he practiced with Stikeman, Elliott in Toronto and Vancouver. He served as a Director of Angoss Software Corp. from 1996 to March 2011.
Chris Howlett
Chris works with the Waterloo Accelerator Centre's "Accelerator Program", where he serves as the technology mentor for early-stage tech companies. He is also the founder of StartupEco Inc. which develops software products that help incubators mange their mentoring programs.
Chris has been an executive with several companies including Maplesoft and Geosign. He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from McMaster University and an MBA from Schulich (York University).
Derek Smith
Derek Smith is a Technology Executive and an Executive in Residence at Communitech, where he acts as an advisor to early stage technology companies. Prior to joining Communitech, Derek was the Managing Director of Apple Canada. Prior to Apple, Derek was the Vice President and General Manager of Hewlett Packard where he managed a $1.5b PC business for HP Canada. Derek started his technology career at Wang Computers and has a degree in Economics from Concordia University.
